so im thinking if i should lower my 2005 cts v

option A: lower with either eibach or h&r springs on stock wheels
* any one perfer one over the other, i dont want a huge drop just a little

option B: should i get all wider tires all around (265-40-18)
* is that a good size to go with or should i change it up, i dont want any rubs becasue i will be putting on either the eibach springs or h&r springs.

option c: should i go with stagg look. 245-40-18 front, and 275-45-18 in rear
* does that sound the right stagg tires to go on stock wheels.
* or does any on suggest differnt stagg sizes and will i need any modification.
* will it mess my handling up going with stagg beside all the same tire size all around..

thank you

I am running 265/40 all around and I highly doubt you could run these tires in the front if you were lowered.

Whisler, no vibration issues running a staggered setup on the same width wheels? Just curious how the car feels.

yeah any issues..

having the bigger gap in the rear is that normal
i heard you can get some type of bushing from nel (i think thats his name)
that lowers the rear a little more..is that true?

id go 245 in front and 265 in back if i were you.

and if you have an 04 the fenders came rolled from the factory so you could probably go 275 in back

Here is mine with 245's all around goodyear eagle rs-a's and H@R springs (they came on the car and they run wide from what im told they are more like 255's) To give u an idea of drop and tire size

Still stock. 245 all around. I just cant bring myself to spend the money on all new tires just yet but im pretty sure 265 would fit out back easily :D
