Default V8 noob question: Installed height

Ive got a set of L92 heads, with stock exhaust and new LS3 intake valves. I just got a patriot gold valve spring set. Do I need to measure the installed height on every valve, or is this something mainly for aftermarket springs and valves?

yes, you need to find out the installed height on the springs themselves and then check them on the valves you have. The installed height sets the correct spring rate.

You also need to figure out coil bind and make sure you won't run into that problem
