Default Mass air flow differences

how hard would it be to put a bigger Maf on our cars i figure GM cant make them all rediculously different they all do the same thing of coarse they would flow more so the conversion would be different? or is that something the Maf does and the computer just reads it?

Run down to the local GM dealership with a tape measure and screw driver. Pop off the intake and measure the MAF. They have a list of vehicles there maf's are off of, on the ebay listing.

yeah.. not gonna do anything for ya except screw up how it runs...

the tunes will be thrown off....

stock MAF's are good for 500hp, which is handling plenty of airflow...

I bout a JET chips MAF...so diff at all in the construction, even the sensors where postition inside on the rail the same....the only diff was in the mold on the filter side inside the MAF housing....I lost 4mpg and 10whp...replaced back to stock, and can feel the diff now that it hasnt been of for a while...stay factory!!! agreed there...GM AC Delco makes some of the best MAFs on the planet...so easy to tune with too...thats just from my experience though...

i had gotten a bunch of spectre pieces to do 4 inch intake with it. like the 4 inch 45 aluminum and the silicone reducing couplers. but with the small tb its not really worth it.

need a 90mm intake/tb for that thing.
