Question Side Marker Lights Shorting Out

On my 1988 Camaro SC my passenger side blinker and drivers side, side marker does not work when lights are on. All other side marker lights work fine as well as blinkers. When I bought the car the headlights on the passenger side did not work properly. I found a ground wire and attached it to the high beam on the passenger side and now the headlights work fine on low beam, but when on high beam both lights on passenger side come on instead of just the inside headlight coming on. Im not that good with wiring so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default

Start easy & cheap:

You could have a short or contaminant in the headlight switch. Carefully remove the switch, disassemble it even more carefully, and clean it out with contact cleaner or a wire brush. Re-install the switch.
