95 -97 hooker supper comp headers does anyone here run these if so what plugs and wires are you running i have trouble with my plug boot touching my header right at the cat conection weld

they are a aluminum peice that slips on the boot i have them off old wire set but with it touching the header wont it heat the boot and burn it

i have hooker shorty super comp header on my 96 z28
all i did was put a good enough dent in it
& on the spark plug boot i put some heat sheld w/a tin piece from the exhaust manifold
2 hold it on & that solve my problem & i got msd 8.5 spark plug wires on mine
