I was thinking of getting tokico blue shocks , they are somewhat affordable. I drive daily and just looking for a softer ride not felling every bump. Any one with these shocks ? Or any suggestions can't afford Konis which seem to be the favorite. Thanks

My son's car has Bilsteins on the front and Tokicos on the rear - a combo that's even cheaper than Tokico all around. Rides great. WS6 Store sells in pairs so you can check out pricing.
If you're willing to spend a little more, Bilsteins from Sam Strano will ride just as nicely and you'll have great shocks on all four corners.

hey, I have the blue ones all around, and I really like them. I run them with stock springs, as I did not feel like lowering my car. They are way better than stock shocks.

SPL Bilsteins (set of 4)for a little over $300 at summit racing.

Tokico is one of the brands I sell, and will actually use. However, I don't put them at the top of any "to use" list and here's why:
Bilstein's are built better and they have a bigger piston which damps smaller motions better, they also aren't much more money. Note that the Bilstein's I recommend are NOT the SLP version. That's for stock springs.
For lowering springs, the same is still true, but Tokico and Bilstein don't have the level of damping they need to control higher rate and shorter travel springs.
The thing is the Tokico's, while cheaper than Bilstein aren't *that* much less, and the Bilstein is a better shock in most every way. If Tokico's were $200 for a set of 4, that would change things a bit, but they aren't.

I think my price is more than fair, currently @ $352 for a set of 4, plus shipping. Might you find them cheaper? Maybe, but then I don't see any of those others here answering any of your questions either.

i have them, and was very happy after i put them in, upgrading from a shot stock set up. not bilsteins, and car does still dive a couple inches under heavy breaking. bmr springs put in tomorrow so i'll see what that does too.

For a set?!!! Are you kidding me. I think one front Koni costs that much. :ripped:
What I am saying is this..If you plan on going with that dampener, buy it from someone who can help you set it up. Price isn't everything.
It's like having a 10 inch dick and not knowing what to do with it.
Sam...feel free to put that on a t shirt..
