Default Wheel/Tire Combo

Im gonna order a set of these wheels soon. I do not want the 17/18 combo because the 17's look small with the deep dish. I can order them in an 18/18 combo but they charge extra for breaking up a set of wheels. I really want to order the 18/19 combo since they are only like 40 bucks more than the 17/18 but Im not sure about the tire sizes to go with.

One thing I dont like is when the sidewall of the front is alot taller than the rear. Another thing is the price of rear tires for these 19's. At this point I cant pay the coin for a 295/25/19 tire.

Im not sure how to do this. The first combo that comes to mind is 275/35/18 front & 275/30/19 rear. This will make both front and rear tires the same height and the same height as stock but also the fronts will have a thicker sidewall. Maybe the sidewall won't look as bad as I think.

I know 275 is kinda wimpy for 19's but when you go bigger the price goes out the roof!

What do you wheel experts think? Oh BTW, I will probably be getting the chrome version of this wheel. It is 200 more.

The pic above I believe is a 18x10.5 Those are the wheels I am leaning towards if you look at my thread a few threads down. Are you ordering them thru oewheelsllc? I wasnt aware they allowed you to split up a set? I was thinking about going 19/18 but that is pushing it for my taste. I would think 19s would cause wheel hop and mess up the drive/ You are corrrect though on the 17s on the front are alittle small and going with 19s in the rear I would think you would wanna go with possibly 305. 275 seems small

ehhh, i cant do 295's right now

Now if I can get the wheels and tires on I could replace the tires when they wear out with bigger ones.

You can get 295/35/18s for right around $194 each (General Exclaim UHP).

Wait a little longer to get them till you have the money for some nice tires maybe. I just changed from BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDs to Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, both are pricey and I liked the BFGoodrichs, but man, the Goodyears are awesome. Personally, I would wait till you can afford the better tires. To each their own though.
