Default ZO6 valve springs

I'm installing a 2002 ZO6 cam in my 2001 TransAm 6sp. trans.I plan on sifting at 6300 rpm, do I need the ZO6 springs? I have 23,000 miles on the car.

They're rated specifically for that cam....I'd swap for them if it were my car. Better to spend a few extra $$ then risk messin up your motor.

I would definitely go with the ls6 springs. The higher lift cam is only part of the equation. The 2002 LS6 also uses lighter weight valves. Bigger cam + heavier valves + 6300 RPM = trouble IMO.
