well last week stoped and got gas and then tryed to start but nothing I waited about 20 min then it started at first i thought it was the VATS so I disabled it well tuesday after runing for awhile I stoped and when I went back to start it same thing it won't start I can hear the fuel pump and everthing on the dash lights up I did notice that when you turn the key to start the fuel pump slowed down alittle so it could be my stater I do have a torque master w/ heat shield on it.
well after I waited around 20 min it started up and then io headed to work and once I got to work I turned it off and started up right away I did that a few times and every time it started up..
any clues why its doing that?

It's likely you have a bad ICM. They are prone to heat-soak and can cause a hard-start condition when warm.

Yeah, test the ICM. Replace if bad. You can also perform the ICM cooling mod as well.

Also, just because you can hear the pump, doesn't mean that it is working properly. Hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the rail, just to be sure. Test the pressure at prime, idle, and WOT under load. Also watch to see if the pressure bleeds to zero quickly after you turn the car off.

Spec is 43.5 psi with the vacuum line disconnected from the fpr, but anywhere from 41-47 is normal.

did that after I replaced mine about 4 months ago,
but the problem is that it don't crank you turn the key and the dash light goes on but the starter don't turn or ingage.
