Which of these cams would you use for this car..
Yeah I know, another one of these threads Looking at 3 different cams. I emailed a few sponsors but haven't heard anything back in a few weeks, so let's see what you guys think
Full bolt ons, 3.73s, th350, 3800/2.5 STR converter, 28" tall M/Ts, 125 shot. Car weight is around 3150. Currently it has a HotCam. I'm not against trying to stretch it as far as I can, but on the other hand I'd like to get more out of the car
It's not a daily driver, but I do drive it a lot more in the Spring/Summer months. I have a good tuner around here, so drivability isn't a huge concern. I don't want a max HP cam, I prefer to have a lot of torque early/mid on, with a decent gain up top. I don't want to rev it higher than ~6400. I'd like to keep the lift below .600" if possible, but slightly higher is ok
With that, here are the 3 cams
Torquer v2 ( 232/234, .595"/.598" )
"El Torro" ( 230/230 XFI / XER .612/.592 111+2 )
Patrick G torque cam (224/228 LSK .637/.639 110LSA)
The Patrick G cam is from his "torque coming out of my ears!" thread. I liked the results he got, but I'm not sure if I like that much lift...what do you guys think?

you can guess what cam i picked...
I think you will be happy with it, it makes better power spinning it to 6600 but you wont lose much at all if you only want to go to 6400 with the flat curve...really all your cams look good cant go wrong with any IMO...

The 230"/232" .595"/.585" 112LSA? Looks pretty good..comparable to these other choices as well. Any reason to choose it over the others?

I still want to see more results from El torro guys. Chris is the only guy to have posted results.
I voted el torro though just because of the good results that have been made with the XFI lobes over the XER (TrqrV2) and you dont want the LSK lobes. the hot cam definatley does you no favors.

Seems like a lot of El Torro love in here, and honestly that was the cam I was more leaning towards. Looks like that will be the one I go with, after I get some decent baseline runs from the Hotcam

Yeap, that is what I would recommend if you want 6400 shifts. Although it has .612 lifts on intake, the XFI lobe is much more merciful than LSK.
It likes juice, it is a reverse split at .006 and .200 lifts (so lots of trq below curve).
Intake lobe 3016R
Exhaust lobe 3725R
111 LSA
107 ICL
