Default Info on removable steering wheel

Looking for any info for installing a removable steering wheel.
Are there any tips are tricks? Are just a matter of welding on the adapter sleeve thingy...?
Thanks

Go to Madman's site. He has the quick release hubs and also Grant Pro Stock steering wheels with the yellow tape at top. I have that set-up now. Will try to post pics later. Like $112 for the wheel and $129 for the quick release hub.

I just noticed that you have a 383 and run 7.02 in the 1/8 and 1.52 60' just like me, but you got me on MPH by 4. THAT'S WEIRD. What will it do in the 1/4? Haven't had a chance to run mine full out. Starting to put in my MWC FAB 9 this weekend, if they send my right axle bearings, shipped wrong ones. Can't wait, I got it narrow 3" per side, Alum center, spool, 4.11's,35 spline gun-drilled axles, 5/8" studs, backbrace.

I was banging the rev limiter on the 1-2 and 2-3 shift and my converter is way tight for my set up. When I put my th350 in along with the 5000 stall, I should be 6.80's or better, fingers crossed.

Currently I have a 3600 stall and the tranny was slipping badly.. All I have around here is 1/8 mile tracks, so I have no clue what she will do in the quarter. And I'm geared for the 1/8 with 4.86's in the rear...
I really want to get some lighted parts for my 9", but will have to wait until I get my tranny squared away.

I'll have to measure, but I don't think that much difference than stock.

I just picked this set up for my 98 trans am and the quick release hub does not fit my shaft. The shaft is a small amount larger in diamater and the nut is way to big. Called Grant and they said it will not work with the newer collum. How did you guys get it to fit?

Hey, I got your e-mail. I'm waiting to talk to the boss about it, cause I never knew that they wouldn't work with the newer columns. As soon as I figure something out, i'll let you know.
