its orange peel. have to wet sand it and shoot clear again, made the mistake of using duplicolor paintshop (premixed) clear and it didn't agree the the mason base. Going to get some real clear tomorrow. and im going to try to keep the theme going but there aren't too much body line to work with

It looks like you, or whoever sprayed it, did not wait long enough to spray the clear before the basecoat has dryed. now the base coat and clear have essentially morphed into one coat.
If you are planning on getting that thing to look cherry, you will need to sand it back down and re-spray the whole hood. You will not fix the problem by just spraying real clear over the top of what you already have.

Paint on hood
Looks like a lot of modeling in the paint......base coat........that's from putting the base on to wet......! or having the wrong spray gun.
That hood has to be re-based.....and then re-cleared.
Try waiting at least 20 minutes,before clearing.
If you sand though the clear,and you put the base on to wet,
your going to have another problem........it will propbley rinkle.
Just my 2 cents......the rest of my money go into my car. lol
