l76 cam bearing wear?

installing a cam in a g8 with 5k miles and the cam bearings, all of them have some copper brass showing, i cant see them being trashed so fast. ive heard that they will look like that new because they are linehoned before a cam is installed??

That is normal. As long as there are no gouges in the bearing you are fine.

I was surprised to see copper color on the cam bearings when I took my new block out of the crate.
