What effects will new S60 rearend have in quarter mile. I'm curious what affect my new rearend will have in the quarter. Its a S60 4.11 gears. I know it is about 75 lbs heavier than a 10 bolt, and there will be more rotational mass, so this will lower ETs and MPH but is any of that loss overcome by by better utilizing all four gears?
In reality, I suspect my times and maybe trap will be better due to new M/T Streets providing better 60'. I also lay down the foundation for more power in the future, but I guess I'm curious if the lower new rear will give me better times if i can hook.
