Default My 95 Cavalier daily driver has a weird issue need Help!!

So I have a 1995 Chevy Cavalier 2.2L as my dail driver and I just replaced my spark plugs and plug wires along with a new valve cover gasket because my old one was leaking bad.Now for the problem which is after i got done installing these parts im getting a vibration in my gas pedal and a noise from the engine bay ,when i let off the gas then ease back on it again, and the vibration is the most noticeable in 3rd gear when holding a constant rpm and in 5th gear at about 60mph.I also do have a ticking noise comming from the front left wheel but have had it for a year in a half and assume thats a cv axle but have no idea on this vibration issue.the car has 141000 miles on it and has been a very good daily driver and been easy to fix and diagnose up until this issue has me stumped can anyone help or no what the issue is?

I had a similar 1990 2.0 L and the valve cover always leaked. Wasn't ever able to stop the thing.

Are you sure all of your wires are hooked up securely? Maybe you have a cylinder down/missing?

The ticking probably is your CV.

Did you use the correct plugs? My old cavi was tempramental(sp?) about that. Chenged the plugs twice before it stopped doing what you are describing. I went back with OE acdelco's.

Does it only vibrate when driving (in motion, in gear)?

Check motor & tranny mounts, but it really sounds more like a driveline problem - either a CV shaft or clutch/TOB. Also, see if it does it in netral while driving.

It never fails - you do something nice for the car, and it stabs you in the face.

Yup, ditch the bosch plugs and get a set of acdelco plats. I went with bosch fist and it ran like crap. I threw a bunch of parts at it trying to fix it and finnally changed the plugs again and it started running smooth again. My 2.2 made it to 101K miles and it spun a bearing. It had 3psi oil pressure at idle. after the rebuild it had 5...

Not sure what some of you are talking about, the 2.2 was a great engine.

I agree. Bosch plugs aren't even good enough for the garbage.
