non shaft rockers
I am in the process of building an LS combo for a class that does not allow shaft type rocker arms. I'm just looking to explore all of the options out there as far as who manufacturers non shaft aluminum rocker arms for the LS engine, both adjustable and non adjustable. I will be using stock LS6 heads for the class. So far I am aware of Comp ultra-gold rockers and Scorpion rockers. If anyone knows anything else available please feel free to chime in.

Not sure what you mean by non-shaft rockers. Are stock considered a shaft rocker? Reason for asking is the Scorpions install similarly to stock. Scorpion has also had some strength issues so proceed with caution with them. Crane made a stud rocker, not sure of Crane's status as a company but you can still get the rocker sets. If the Scorpions will fit in your class, then will Yella Terra?

The stock pedestal style rockers are allowed. By shaft rockers, I mean no shaft directly connecting one rocker to another, such as Jesel, T&D, etc. Yella Terra rockers would be considered shaft rockers, so no go. Crane is dead now unfortunately. What problems did the scorpions have? I've seen the off brand and "ebay" rockers out there, but there is no way in hell I would even consider them on an engine like this.

I knew the stock rockers "rock" would come up, lol. I'm not bracket racing or building a hot street setup here guys. This is going to be an 8000+ RPM heads up motor. It's just ignorant to use stock rockers when the rules allow aftermarket, lightweight, full roller versions.
