Default 25.3 Camaro (with weight reduction) from Madman Racing

The boss told me to get a tread goin on this car. It's a good build, since we have our options open with this car. Started out as a v6 car, and now it's turning into a beast.

How much did you move the motor back in that, looks like it's back there a good bit, especially with the way the tunnel was redone.

Killer build, can't want to see the final project. I'd love to take it to that level somday.,, better get on planting that money tree

Nice work!

I dont think it's that the motor was moved back, your just looking @ the mid plate. It's a weld in instead of a bolt in like the front.I'm going to do mine that way as well.

BTW:chassis looks GREAT!

Hard to tell. If that's the mid plate that's a sweet way to go about it.

Leave it to madman to bring new things to our cars! I do like the windshield base and how that was totally cut off/back. I'd love ot take that route when mine's done... just not sure if I can trust the local fab guy to not pork that up.

I do however, have a new potential fab guy I found that I may start working with, so we'll see

This is my interpretation of the 25.3 cage. The specs are still not out. The motor is within an inch of stock location. The midplate is welded to the firewall to strengthen that area and remove the need for a limiter on the motor.

I havent put the door bars or kidney bar in yet so I can finish the floor etc.

Got ya, that's a good way to add a TON of strength to the firewall/tunnel area I'm sure. How hard is it to get to the top bolts for the tranny bellhousing with it that way, or did you drill some holes in the floor to get to it thru the top?

I like the way you cut out and boxed the rear tunnel area in too, talk about making it really easy to work on! Ya could change the center section thru the top with the top being removable like it is.

Damn, more notes to take for the next car. You keep coming up with good ideas like that and you're gonna drive me broke
