Default Pin Stripes *pics*

From the looks of it, these pin stripes seem to be painted over the clear coat. I personally don't like them and they won't "go" with my future plans for the car. Does anyone know how i can safely remove these without damaging the paint? I took a tiny bit off with my fingernail the other day and thats when i figured out that its gotta be painted over the clear. Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time!

Brake cleaner will take them right off. Do not do it in the sun.

If under the clear you will not get them off. Now just dont take brake cleaner and spray it all over. Take a towel and spray onto a towel and then rub the stripes off. You might have to rub a little but will not hurt anything at all.

I don't think i'd put brake cleaner on my paint. Get a heat gun and some goo gone. And rubbing your paint with a towel is going to do nothing but put swirl marks and scratches in your paint...do it right.

Brake clean will work... BUT... it WILL take clear with it, so be very careful. I know you can buff off pinstripes, but that takes clear too... probably not as much though. And if you spray the brake clean on the car and it sits too long it could cloud your paint. So I wouldn't even spray it on the car, spray it on the rag.
