Default Clutch fluid change

I need to change my fluid what is the best way just try to pump it all out with the bleeder open then add new and bleed it? Is there a better way. I want all the old bad fluid out and all new in. Also how much should I buy or how much will I waste doing this project.

Also when you pay someone to put in a new clutch and master cyl is it common practice to change the fluid as a mechaninc?

A better way? Yeah buy a Motive power bleeder for like 50-60 bucks. It makes life so much easier when bleeding your clutch and your brakes, I promise. Makes it a 1 person job and it's quick.

I have used Valvoline Syn Power as well as non Syn DOT4 with great success. If you want to be very sure all has been run through you could get a big bottle and gravity bleed it. If you do it with 2 and have one crack the bleeder and do the pedal, then a small bottle is fine.

Fluid swaps help but if your pedal is crashing, or sticking, then you may have a mechanical issue.

Forgot to mention that you probably want to get a 1 liter bottle of fluid. I always use more than what I think I will.

Original fluid on 80k mile car. Person who put the clutch in did not change the fluid. Pedal sticks at the track.

I'd fix that ASAP, since that can burn a new clutch up easily. My 35k stock LS6 went mush pedal after any hard run after making 325 rwhp. lol. The bleeder was fucked up and we couldnt get a socket on there so went in a new clutch and hydraulics.

Great clutch has about 3k on it. Just now having problems think it was a zo6 clutch rated at 400hp should never of wasted my$ on that clutch or let someone else put it in.
