Default !Rear Bumper Support!

Guys....just finished up taking out the rear bumper support it was really straight forward, only tricky part there was 2 10mm bolts which are kinda hidden under the fender well, other than that just take her apart.

I have a little scuff in the corner of the cover and I'm dropping it off at my friends shop for a little spot spray.

I cant wait to get her out and see how she handles with all the weight gone.
So far I've done the following:

!Spare and Jack
!Front Bumper
!Rear Bumper
!Door Bars
!Rear Seats
!Rear Seat Belts
!Passenger Seat
!VFN pin on hood
!Air, EGR System
!Stock AMP

Plus what any bolts and weight difference in things like stock manifolds vs. headers, ETX vs stock battery.

I think I'm close to 3180lbs, no driver.

YES, still have A/C and radio haha....

Do you have a cage in that street driven car??

If not, I pray for you. Do not get into an accident.

Yea no Cage Yet..... I will be getting one though. I know it's not the safest.

Even though it's a daily driver it doesn't see any real DD driving. I live 2 blocks away from work and I just use it to get to work.

For everything else I use the wifey's Jeep.

Please do not drive the car on the street with no weld in cage and the door bars out.

Someone t bones you and you are a dead man. If you are gonna street drive the car I wouldn't even put a swignout in the car, solid weld the 6 pt in at a bare minimum.

It might hurt taking weight out of the rear if you are launching, but I'm not.....I'm mostly doing it to save weight all together.

Guys I appreciate the concerns with no cage in, but thats next.

Aside from the door bars, the rear and front bumper supports are really a joke when it comes down to real crash protection, however, I'm sure having them in helps a little.

At the rate I'm going this car is slowly turning into a track only vehicle.

Mine's a street car, mostly just weekends. I have the rear bumper and door bars in case someone hits me, but I do not have anything in the front, and have cut out alot of the radiator support. Airbags are still in, tho.

I am all about cutting weight out but if a passanger, espcially my wife were to be seriously injured to save 10-40 pounds by taking the air bags out or the door bar. I honestly couldn't live with myself.
