lt1 trans into 99 ls1 trans am is this possible i am selling my bird and need a stock replacement. what will i need to do this if it can be done

You will need a shim sleeve for the converter. The tail housing if and f body will work but is a little different, Buying a stock used lsx trans should not be really any more expensive than the lt-1 I would just get the correct trans. Plenty of cars and trucks have them
