Default shutter???

just noticed this problem today, when i drive the car its, fine but when i try to accelerate, the engine wants to shutter and pop, also if i put it in 6th gear i really notice it.

just installed headers, but ive had them on for 2 weeks, and DID NOT have this problem then, other than that nothing has changed.

could it be bad gas?

hmm.... throwing any codes at all? Did you make sure your O2 sensor harnesses were well away from the headers? Seems like if they were dangerously close, it might take about 2 weeks for them to burn through and start shorting out. I would look at anything that you may have damaged during your header install or that the heat from your headers may have damaged subsequently.

it is, but i had the cats removed to, so ive got an extra set of 02 censors so if thats the case, ill put one of them in, i did fuel up today, that why i said the gas. but the 02 sensor idea sounds like it might be it...ill post with the answer to that.

You can't tell if your 02 sensors are bad, or not working properly without using an OBDII scanner like the dealerships use. Until you do that you will nto know if one or both sensors are bad or failing.

And again, you will not necessarily get an SES light.
