Default LTFT's +20 on Bank 2 after Removing Cats.

Ok, since I took out my cats. Just after I start the engine (warm), bank 2 LTFT's hits +20 which is real lean. The car runs rough for a few minutes, then the LTFT's slowly drop to - 2 to -5 and then runs fine.

I have not taken the rear O2's out yet. (gotta get the plugs for the bungs.) And they are still plugged in (didn't want the wires to hang). But codes have been removed with EDIT.

Any idea what is causing this? Is it cause they are plugged in?

Sounds like the bank 2 front O2 sensor isn't heating up fast enough. Are you getting any codes?

Yep, I would agree with Richard above. You might try swapping the O2's to the other side -if the problem follows the o2 it's time to replace it.

No codes at all. It didn't start until I removed the Cats. I will swap the O2's and see.

Could it be my AIR? Its still hooked up, but will be blocking the tubes off today.

If it was AIR it would be both sides, assuming it's functioning correctly. AIR was my 1st thought, also.

Well, since I didn't know I had to do the restrictor mod. I guess one of the valves could have burned up. Causing one side to work.

When I drive, they are fine. They stay negative. Even more when I let up.

It only happens when I let the engine cool for a little while. Before closed loop. And only for a few seconds.
