Without my skill of knowing how to unplug and plug things back to their right place your car wouldn't be running right now. I was told by my friend who did an M6 swap that it's the same bracket lmao. Don't be such a sour puss. The car runs.

Looks good, this was on your 93? You end up using an e-bay harness?

Nope, we used a 93 M6 harness I sold him along with the rest of the tranny and swap parts. All he had to get was a clutch and hydrolics. Car looks/functions like a 6spd would function from the factory.

If he had everything he needed at hand, this would of been done in a weekend. It's really not as bad as people make it seem. He pretty much did it in two afternoons by himself (with someone to assist in the A4 transmission drop).

used a 93 camaro 6 speed pcm and harness.made the wiring that much easier.if you plan on doing the swap on a 93 theres really only 1 extra thing t0 watch out for and thats remove the tranny to throttle body cable. and if your gonna use an m6 harness cut off the reverse lights pigtail of the harness, cover those 2 wires, elongate the 2 wires for the reverse lights inside the car and solder the pigtail onto them, and then run that into the tranny's reverse light connection. everything works flawless.if you dont do that your gonna be blowing gauge fuses, backup lights wont work, and drain your battery. (learned the hardway since i couldent find a write up on using an m6 harness)

Looks good. About using the M6 Harness.. you would had to probably re-pin some of the connectors o nthe Car side of the connections there under the dash to get it to work properly. From the sounds of it you have it working now.

Believe it or not nothing had to be changed - just what he mentioned (moving the reverse light wires from inside the car to the transmission connector) and a few little things. Everything works like it's from the factory. Pretty clean. Your write-up is better though (merv).. This kid just sticks to the pictures.. That's that Hialeah (miami) **** for ya
