A few motor pics
I'm starting to get real excited. We're getting pretty darn close to getting everything in the car. It's ready to have the K member bolted up and then FW, Clutch, bellhousing, tranny, headers. Then it will be ready to go in. Sucks though it's supposed to rain here tomorrow and the car is outside. Anyways I thought I would post up a few pics of what it looks like now. It's a 355 with forged pistons and rods, stock crank, LE2 heads, LE intake manifold (painted red by me), LE custom cam, 42lb SVO injectors, You can pretty much see everything else.

I sure hope it runs as good as it looks. It's been a slow meticulous process making sure every little piece is as it should be. Listened to everything Lloyd said and built the motor to his reccomendation. With HIGH compression. He said as big as the cam is, high compression is the way to go. By high I mean 12.4 to 1.

Cam is 23x/24x .59x/.59x 108 LSA. Lloyd said it should make power almost all the way to 7k. Low end may suffer a little but that's what the 4.10's are for.
As of now the K member is bolted up and FW is on. Working on getting the Spec 3 on now. Now just wait till that stuff is on and those nice LPP's are one. Should happen tonight. I'll post more pics when this weekends work is done. Thanks for the comments guys. I feel like I didn't skimp at all on this build. The only thing maybe I could've done is a stroker motor but then what would there be for me down the road right?

Trans and everything is bolted up...but turns out summit sent me the wrong stage 8 header bolts. I ordered the 1 inch bolts...they sent the 3/4 inch bolts and they aren't long enough. So looks like I get to wait till next weekend to bolt them up. For those wondering about the LPP headers and an aftermarket K member...the PS still is a problem. I'm going to put shims on the motor mount though that should bring it off the K member just fine. I did however discover the summit 3 inch X pipe setup is not going to be easy to make fit because of how the collectors line up. For the time being I may just use the LPP Y pipe and makeshift an exhaust setup.

That looks really good, ur attention to detail is very high and the various colors look good. That said I can't help but stare at the Alt accesory bracket which looks like you just cleaned it up and is bare alum. I'm not trying to be a jerk but it would be so much better especially later on when it starts to get dirty and oxidized if you took the time now to take it off and at least just paint it black.

Looks nice. I have a AS&M monoblade aswell. Did you modify the IAC and TPS sensors like they said in their instructions? I wasn't sure if what they were trying to do could be accomplished with PCM tuning instead.
And did you buy a kit for all the accessory bolts or did you buy them individual? They look like allen heads.

I bought a bolt kit from Bolt Locker that had most of the bolts I needed. I didn't want to mess with searching for bolts. I got it from ebay. They are stainless steel and look very nice. I didn't do any modding on the monoblade though. I'll look into it. What did it say to do I don't think I got any instructions?
