depends on how much power your making. Most fi e85 people need to go beyond high imped injectors. The biggest high imp is 83 lb's I think. For my twined 347, it needs 96's or 120's with a convertor box for the low imp injector. Its just money, but there are other things to pay for too, so it is waiting. If they make a 96+ lb per hour high impedence injector, well be all set.

120's = 450
convertor box= 250
another pump= 200

its a 1000$ deal to just run e85 in some cases.

yea if its even worth it... maybe just run race fuel and you would still probable be cheaper after a year of racing?

No it would not be cheaper then race fuel after a year of racing. Yes the initial investment is a bit more but the fuel is less then 2$ a gallon not 6$ plus. 80's at 60psi base on e85 is good for roughly 800-850fwhp.

Sure, if you only race twice in that year. E85 here in Colorado is about $2/gallon while unleaded 104 is $7.55/gallon. Difference per fill up is about $87 for a 16 gallon take. Race 10 time a year and you will easily cover the difference. Plus take into account all the weekend warrior time

Really??!?!? 160# injectors will support over a 1000 rwhp. Keep this in perspective.

thats my point, buy em once, they arent any harder to tune in than the 120s. I have a friend that maxxed out 160# on E85 at 1040whp, i mean maxxed too, not at 80%. Better to have the headway for when 800whp isnt quite enough
