Question Auto Leathers Install

I have my seats in finally took about 3 hours. Now I am doing the door panels.Just want to know if anyone here removed the leather or did they glue over it. I think I am going to take it off to sell the leather so some one can do there door panels. Also what did yall use to replace the tabs on the back that are melted. I used my dremel to get them off and I am thinking about just useing some small screws for a couple of them and some 5 minute clear epoxy for the other tabs. Please let me know taking a break right now whatching the cowboys game .

Get some screws of roughly the same diameter as the holes and it'll hold them just fine.

I went ahead and got 10x1/2 screws and 10x3/4 screws just incase the 1/2 arent long enuff and dont get enuff threads in. Also got some flat cut washers 1/4. Then to glue down the other tabs that cannot be screwed down I bought some epoxy adhesive industrial strength. I will post pics tomorrow as soon as the headrests come in. They sent me the wrong ones they were for a 97 headrests. LOL Also had to get 14x1 screws for the speaker forms.I ended up using the 10x3/4 screws for the doorhandle and armrests.I also used washers to reinforce the surface area around the cardboard so it will be stronger than what it was. Also used the 14x1 screw for the speaker form and it worked out great also used the 1/4 washer to reinforce it too. So if you are doing your door panels these are some tips on what I did. Hope it helps they turned out great. Now for some pics tomorrow. :p

The pics will be taken in the morning. My car is a 2001 ws6 with 30th ann stripes silver. I went with black with red inserts with red stiching and the firechicken stiched in silver to match my silver gauges and hvacs. All that is left to install is the red carpet,ws6 pedals, red boot shifter for my flameball shifter red and silver, and custom floor mats. The only items I am waitng for is the carpet and they sent headrests for a 97 not a 2001. And cant decide what to put on the floor mats the bird or ws6. I am almost done next is the cam
