Default Which intake for boost?

I'm getting a 451 LSX built and will be putting a F1C on it too. I have heard that the FAST intake are prone to leaking. I have had a FAST in the past and had no issues with any leaking and i'm wondering if i should get a new one for the new motor?(other one kinda blew up) What you guys think?

The newer FAST 92mm intake is substantially updated over the older FAST 90mm intake. You could go with either the FAST 92 or the Victor Jr and I don't think you'd have any problems. Bob

I moved from a LS2 intake to the Vic Jr with the "IntakeElbows" elbow and the difference has been night and day. Idle quality improved a lot and mif range RPM numbers are up a bit. The upper RPM range should be tuned here in the next day or two, so I will have some feedback then.

I'm curious on this too. I've been looking at the vic jr. but it says it will support up to 600hp. I know I plan on making more than that. Is it going to be a restriction? Not for sure what heads your going with but what about the new fast 101?

And the throttle body just bolts to the elbow? Dow does the fuel inj. fit on that Edelbrock?

Yeah but Jesus, that thing has GOT to be substantially taller than an "LS1" intake manifold, fast, typhoon, whatever brand.

Which intake has been proven to give you better idle/perf./hp from it? The FAST intake or one of these Edelbrocks for boost?

Didn't edelbrock come out with a different elbow that clears the factory cowl? I sold my vic jr in favor of an LS2 intake. I couldn't find an elbow for the vic jr that cleared or looked descent. Plus I couldn't run my STB with it.

My fast 92 intake had some problems.....then they replaced it and had me get burst panels

https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...cs-inside.html

Then on first pull with boost, burst panel opened at 14psi

Guess what happens to a car with an open burst panel...........car shoots up to 5k rpms and stays there
