Default What should my vacuum be? MS3 cam

I have been dealing with some issues after my brake conversion and cam upgrade. Don't know if its vacuum related or at the brakes.

I upgraded my LS powered Nissan 240sx. Ported 243 heads, springs, cams, well the entire top end. With the Texas Speed MS3 cam 114LSA at idle I see 8-10lbs vacuum? Is that the normal for my cam choice? I may have a bad brake booster, I checked everything else, but my brake feel somewhat manual.

Hmm I keep throwing the manifold absolute pressure code, Vacuum is 8.95 idle, is this right? Or does my tuner need to adjust this window?

I got 9.5 at 800 rpm idle, its a stock ls1 with an ms3 and bolt ons. Hope that helps somehow.

ASSuming your reading the MAP signal, from the chart I have: 8.95 PSIA = 11.9" vacuum.

What is your idle rpm set at? You will need it around 900 or so to get a good idle vacuum, you should be around 13-14" of vacuum with 11.5 degrees of overlap.

she bounces from about 930-to 1050 rpm. My -8.95 was being read from the map sensor via the ecu. So the idle may be high I suppose. I need to get it back to the tuner to check a few things out on the tune anyhow. Thanks for the respose I need to get a real vacuum guage on here too
