Default 98 Wrangle pics

Here's a few pics of my Jeep project.

2000 LS1/4L60E. LS6 heads and cam. Comp cams 1.85 rockers. BBK intake. Hooker headers.

8.8 Explorer rearend with 4:10 gears. 241 transfer case.

Took it all apart. Repainted the body. Powder coated the frame.

Should be back together by mid May.

question for you. with the ls motor and the 4l60 how did you hook up the transfer case for 4x4? did you just use the jeep tranfer case and get a adaptor plate for the trans/transfer case ?

Default LS1 Jeep

I going to run 17 x 8 wheels with 32" tires for now.

No 37" or long arms in the plans.

I used a Novak adapter between 4L60E and the 241 Rubicon transfer case.

I used the 241 because it is really a 1/2 ton pickup transfer case. Don't really need the 4:1 low range but that's how they come.

I have a 231 T/C with a wide chain kit and SYE kit in my 6.0 Wrangler. I'm always a bit nervous if I really get some traction it might break. Hasn't yet.
