Default Aftermarket Amp Remote Wire??

I have purchased and almost completely installed an Alpine V-Power 4 channel amp. I also have afermarket speakers and HU. The last thing I need is the remote wire. Where do I wire this from?? I have tried the power wires to the old Monsoon amp, but that never shuts off. What can I use that will shut off with my HU?

my alpine headunit had a amp turn on wire to splice into. If yours doesnt then splice it into the ACC wire or power antenna wire in the back of your headunit.

Don't splice the power antenna wire. If you hook the amp to that youll only have power when the radio's on am/fm. Use amp turn on from the radio (should be blue or blue/white depending on HU manufacturer) or the red ACC wire from the the radio. If you don't like those, I believe the orange wire in the ignition harness (check with a multi-meter)
