Aftermarket Amp Remote Wire?? I have purchased and almost completely installed an Alpine V-Power 4 channel amp. I also have afermarket speakers and HU. The last thing I need is the remote wire. Where do I wire this from?? I have tried the power wires to the old Monsoon amp, but that never shuts off. What can I use that will shut off with my HU?

Don't splice the power antenna wire. If you hook the amp to that youll only have power when the radio's on am/fm. Use amp turn on from the radio (should be blue or blue/white depending on HU manufacturer) or the red ACC wire from the the radio. If you don't like those, I believe the orange wire in the ignition harness (check with a multi-meter)
