Default Broke Wheel Stud on Moser 9", any tips for replacement?

Tonight one of my weld lugnuts decided to grab ahold of the 1/2" stud and twist it right in half. Just from memory, it seems like in order to change out my wheel studs, i'm going to have to pull the axles out of the rear end, pull off the bearings and the traction control ring in order to get the studs in and out.

This sound right to everyone? Or is there some sort of trick to being able to get the new studs in?

TIA

You should just have to remove the rotor and emergency brake pad. Then hammer out the broken stud, pull in the new one.

You don't have to remove the axles to swap studs. Its actually very very easy. All you have to do is pull the rotor off, then pull the abs sensor out of the backing plate. Then rotate the axle so that the stud lines up with the hole where the sensor was, and knock the stud out. Replace with a new one, and you are all set.
