head gasket or cracked block? i'm getting the white smoke in the exhaust and the milky (coolant) look on the dipstick. so i'm assuming it's either a blown head gasket or a cracked block. how do you tell?

Well, the way I would think is "it's probably the gasket, because it wuld really really suck if it was the block." Try replacing the gaskets, and if that doesn't do it, you know it's the block. Good luck.
