I'm not 100% sure if that's what it's called, but I'm referring to when the car is in Drive and you just let the car roll by itself without any throttle. I believe I saw somewhere before someone else mention this, I'm not sure.
But do our cars have an unusually slow or weak rolling idle? on slight inclines or on a driveway I need to give it a decent amount of gas just to get up it. of if I'm at a red light and the road is slightly inclined backwards, I can keep the car in place with my foot off the brake, or sometimes if it's steep enough, the car will roll backwards even, like I've got a manual. is there a reason for this? also would it be bad letting the car roll back or stay in place while off the brakes?
