LS1sounds.com

Typically most people think the LM1 is too loud and Raspy ecspecially with headers. I do hear that alot of people seem to like the LM2.

I replaced my lm2 muffler with a borla xr1 but recently had to take it off to make room for my cutout so have since ordered the PowerFlo kit. I like the lm2 but it was starting to get too loud and raspy.

i think the lm1 sounds the best but i dont think a car is too loud ever. haha im also 19 so in a few years my opinion might change but as of now the louder more aggressive it sounds the better. a friend of mine has full slp and lm1 and his is loud as hell but its a lil raspy but thats my opinion.

I have both resonators. They are swappable. I like my LM2 better because like said before the LM1 does get raspy though the LM2 has a deeper more of a drone or thoaty sound which is what I like. Just get both the resonators are only 80-90 bucks last time I looked. Both are loud inside but both sound good IMO.

Here is my car with LM1 and factory manifolds and Y-pipe. I'm in the middle of my LT install, so soon I'll have video of it with that and a catted Y. >=-)

It all depends on how loud you like it. I had the LM1 with the slp new catted Y and I liked it alot. Now I have the LM1 with ARHeaders and their high flow cats and their Y and what rasp there was, is gone. The sound inside my hawk is the same with headers as without until WOT. The headers are what makes the LM1 sound good. Not all headers are the same, I'm speaking of ARH. Here is a clip of ARHeaders with their catted Y and the LM1

i love the sound of both resonators. lm1 has a wicked idle with headers and screams at higher rpms, and lm2 sounds sweet with stock manifolds/y-pipe. they are kinda loud inside the car, but honestly i have driven and road in my brothers car with pacesetter lts, ory, and lm1 and have gotten used to how loud it is.

I just switched from a B&B catback to a LM2, and I love it. The LM2 does have drone from 1500 to 1900, after that it's not too bad. But if you daily drive your car the LM2 or 1 will both get a little old.
My LM2 does SCREAM at WOT.
