Default Equalizer Question

I just pulled an old 7 band pyramid out of the ol ladys ride, im gonna wire it up in my DD.

I need to know how to set it up.

It has

Power, ground and remote wires ( i know what to do with those)

i just need to know how to wire my rca's

I have a sub output on the head unit and a rear/front speaker output.

I will be running an amp on the sub output and one on the rear speakers out put.

On the EQ my rca options are as follows

SUB L/R ---- Input L/R---- Front Out L/R---- Rear Out L/R

now im guessin i would run a set into the input and run everything else on the outputs. But which rca jack on the head unit would i use for the input on the EQ, the SUB out, or the Front or Rear?

hope its not to confusing

any help is appreciated

my GUESS would be front. there should be some frequencies left out of the rear, i think. and obviously the sub out doesnt have the highs. look at the setting of your hu, you might be able to make it put certain (or all) frequencies to the front speakers.

thats what i was thinking, because i would want to use an output with all frequencies into the EQ and then it will seperate the lows through the SUB out put.

or so i think lol
