231/237 (.598/.595) 112+2lsa 422rwhp/379rwtq on Texas Speed's dyno. Daily-drives perfectly with no issues whatsoever and we even got 27-29mpg on the way back from the tune. Lot's of pull, even down low and should be good for 11's! You are asking one of the most general questions you possibly could though with a million different possible answers and people are just going to tell you that what they have is the best. Get your power goals in mind as far as hp/tq/track times and also driveability and have Patrick G or someone make a custom grind for you. Good luck!

Was that a custom grind from TSP or one of theres? Ive looked at a lot of there products they seem like very good parts. My problem is i dont want to spend $400 on a cam im not happy with, so im doing as much research as i can. My goal is street and strip car that has good manners on the street but will be a raped ape on the strip.

Yeah it was one of TSP's cam's but they don't have it listed on their site anymore. You can still get it though! For me, it works perfectly on the streets and will perform at the track as well. Like I said I should be in the 11's even with the terrible DA we have here. Seriously though you would not be wasting your time talking to someone who can spec you a custom cam! That would honestly be the best route to go.

I will give them a call then. One other question then, Have you had any problems with the long tube headers scraping the ground? I plan on buying some when i do the cam. Im leaving the car at stock height.

We've discontinued the 231./237 camshaft. In it's day it made good power, but engine dyno testing got us into some different camshaft styles that made better power across the board. I personally really like the 228R or the Torquer 3 camshaft, we have good dyno data from either camshaft to help you in your decision.

i agree, i like the V3 also but its a little hard on intake springs for someone who may not want to change them often. when all else fails get a tr224/224R or tr228/228R. my tr224 made 384whp uncorrected through an auto.

Futral F13 or F14! I ran the F14 in my Z06 for over a year. The car put down 423 rwhp and 408 rwtq with that cam, underdrive pulley, ported TB, headers, CAI and a tune. I know there are a few other cars that came close to those numbers. Most F14 and F13 cars typically put down in the 390 rwhp to 410 rwhp in F-bodies.
