Default H/C or Stroker

wondering what the pros and cons of each are of each? And a comparison of which one is better and why?

Thanks,
Brian

Bored and Stroked is the ultimate. It produces more TQ EVERYWHERE in comparions to a H/C car. H/C cars are all peak HP/TQ. They just can't compete with displacement in the area under the curve area.

h/c is cheaper as well.

to take advantage of a bored /stroked LS1, you are going to need a nice cam and a nice set of heads that like to breathe

nice ride BTW

1. What is your total budget?
2. Are you willing to upgrade the entire drivetrain to handle the extra power?
3. What % of street use and track use will your car see?

I don't have a budget right now. That is why I am asking to see what I would need to save up for. I don't have a big money tree so I don't know no more than $8,000 - $10,000 for EVERYTHING.

I am not sure how much you are talking about. I know that my rearend is a weak link and will need to be upgraded. But I would like to avoid upgrading the ENTIRE drivetrain.

I mostly street race and I am looking for a street demon. I see very little track use with my car.
