Question 402cid Stroker Motor !! What kinda Roller Rocker arms should i use ??

I have a TSP 402 Stroker motor in my 1999 Trans am .. I am hearing some pretty good valve noise and dont really feel like Driving the Car anymore till i get some New Roller Rocker arms .. Cause as of Right now Im Still Running on Stock LS2 Rocker arms , which probally isnt a good idea Considering im Running Patriot Stg 3 heads 64cc 2.080 Intake and 1.6 exhaust, With a TSP Custon Grind of 240/244, .610/.612 with a 114 LSA .. Probally wasnt a good idea , but it had sounded fine up to this POint but now its sounds like a bad Sewing machine .. So what kinda Roller Rocker arms should i use for this setup ?? i would Prefer to stay with my stock VC "valvecovers" if possible.. I Am think the Roller Tip is the way to go , Seem great to me and smoother valve transaction ..

How much Lift will a 1.8 Ratio Give me Compaired to the 1.7 ratio ??

If you could List Around about Price of the Roller rocker

Checkout your preload on both the intake & exhaust on several cylinders. This will give us a better idea whats going on, also what lifters are you running?

Question

isnt preload about .012 for a quarter turn ?? so 1 3/8 of a turn with my 7.400 pushrods gave me about .066-.067 preload

yea I'd stick with 1.7's the 1.8's arent reccomended on a lot of cams because they add a lot more stress to the cam lobes. I think you have plenty of lift at over .600 now anyhow
