Default Just got my Fi Q 12"

Just got my Fi Q 12" sub in today. The thing looked awesome when I unpacked it and it hits unbelievably hard! The first thing I did was test it out on a fast double bass track and it kept up excellently! I thought my sideview mirrors were going to fall off when I first cranked it up, lol.

It's powered by an Mmats D1600.2 wired for a 2 ohm load so it's pushing a rated 1150 watts rms to the sub. The sub is in a 1.35 cu ft sealed enclosure (after displacement). I am VERY pleased

I will get pics of it mounted in the box soon if anyone wants to see them

Thumbs up

Nice choice .

I have been running my 12" Q on 1k watt rms for over a year now daily . I didn't get BP back then but it handles the power no problem and I am running mine in a big ported box .
BP is a free option right now so you might as well get it .

Wait until it loosen's , it really slam's then .

I have 2 in my WS6 as well Only running them off of my Belle 5ch at the moment, 600 watts. I have a PG Xenon 1200.1 sitting in my condo to install and I can't wait They sound amazing in a sealed enclosure. Even being severely underpowered, my subwoofer stage is the best I have ever had. Not SPL wise mind you, but sound quality wise blending with my front stage that I am running active. You will be very satisfied with your setup! Make sure and hit us up with install pics. I will probably post some of mine if/when I get it all finished.

No, i didnt opt for the BP option after reading about what kind of power they could handle in stock form. It's crazy as is! lol

I power my Q12 with my JL 500/5, which has a 250W rated subwoofer section. It does more than 250W, but not ridiculous power.

You know what? It still sounds damn good and gets quite loud. SPL record? No. But very acceptable.

Great subwoofer. I've recommended them for a while now. Good choice
