I'm not the guy wanting the help

FYI I had the LS7 setup in my car and it never gave me a single problem. No more clutches for me though, I swapped to a TH350

I'd reccommend the LS7 clutch kit. As long as you just have bolt ons, its more than enough.

I've been very satisfied with mine.

+1 on the ls7 clutch. I have one and it was fine.... until I hit it with the nitrous. Now I have some hydrolics issues.

Will probably go with a monster clutch in the near future. I have heard they are excellent for someone at my power level.

But for a bolt-on car, you really should just save yourself some $$$ and go with a ls7 clutch. They can be had on the cheap if I remember correctly.

What mods? If it's that low 11 second car, I'd run as quickly as possible away from the LS7 clutch and check out Monster! We offer them as well!

Agreed as well...it seems that this is this almost flock mentality when it comes to using the LS2 clutch kit. And though I can understand the belief that better stock parts are a great way to go...there will always be some inherent limitations to these parts. The most obvious being the SAC type pressure-plate which can miss-adjust leading to release issues. SAC type pressure-plates also have less clamp-load than their non-SAC brethren. In the end, as great as an LS2 assembly may seem to be...they will always be less torque capable than a true built plate.
