470 hp/435 tq??? H/C M6
I put my car on a Dynocom dyno yesterday and it made 470 hp and 435 tq. Which seems REAL high IMO because last year on a mustang dyno i only put down 413 hp and 373 tq. The differences are last year i had a non-ported FAST 90, stock 3.42 rearend, and stock clutch. Now i have a Vengeance Ported FAST 90, Midwest 9 inch rear with 4.11's and a Textralia clutch. Anybody had any experience with these Dynocom's??? Numbers seem a lil inflated.

Comp custom cam 228/230 on a 112+4, heads are PRC stage 1 LS6's unmilled with .040 cometics. Not sure about the dyno correction, but i was only expecting 430-440hp max if its within 5rwhp of a dynojet.

You're local so I'll clue you in. F-Body Central does my tuning. They lost their shop in Baltimore due to the lack of business from the bad economy. They are still operating, but no longer have the mustang dyno. They worked out a deal with ELD performance in Millersville to use their dyno for tuning, which happens to be a Dynocom. So I kinda have no choice but to use a different dyno

This has to be a first thread of its type. You know, very few of the dyno posters ever go to the track as it's just too much hassle. You just need to stay on the same dyno every time and you really should go run it and weigh it to see how you compare. With that 9, you oughta be able to go on slicks to eliminate some of the inconsistencies with street tires.

Brian kept trying to sell a full dyno tune even pointing out issues that did not exist. They also wanted to dyno it with the converter locked and I repeatedly asked them not to, for several reasons. They told me to expect low numbers unlocked. I said that's OK, its not a dyno queen. Perhaps they should stick with their bread n butter Ford stuff.
