This is my 2001 Trans am, Its been stored at my shop for about 2 years now. Last time i parked it, the lifters were out. Im going to be tricking it out a bit. Going for a street show car. nothing too over the top. I got tired of looking at it like that so I got to WORK!...

For the lifters being out you sure did do a bunch of use less shit to it but keep us updated

a pic of the system ...will be building a custom ported box in the back for the 12" RE SX sub. Will be pushing it with a 1000/1 JL AUDIO AMP. 2 Pairs of Components- DIAMOND HEX speakers. 100 Watts RMS a piece. US amps 600x 2 channel. Bridging one pair of speakers to 1 channel. Will be using a Alpine head unit

Thanks...I am wrapping things up with the paint...Im doing a little extra with the fenders and hood... So it will be a a day or two till i finish that up... Here some pics of the wheels i didnt like them chrome so im going to paint them a flat black..In the future i will be throwing on some 3 piece forged wheels like HRE but as of now i will have to roll with these bad boys!!.. the day ended fast so ill paint them tomarrow..http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r261/ICEDINSX/P1030391.jpg

BUMP for some updates!

BTW - I really dig the hood! How was it done? Another sick idea with the hood would be to invert the idea and cut out the blocking that makes up the design of the Phoenix, then flush mount some plex from underneath and light it up and have the Bird glow your colors. ;)

Thanks alot appreciate the compliments...To answer some of the questions. The paint is HOUSE OF COLOR-TANGELO Pearl. The hood was done with Fiberglass/Filler. I will be posting pics of the car it is actually a two tone that i havnt seen done so it is different. The car is pretty much all done except a few minor things.

Uh, ..., That would have had so much more impact without the stripes, without the bird, ..., without the black wheels, ...
In my opinion, this build took a turn for the worse in the last few posts. But, to each their own, ...

the GS stripes are good
however, i feel the black stripe takes away from the bird...actually it takes away from the car.
the wheels, i feel should be chrome of any design really. something with a dish. maybe the dished Y2k vette wheels offered by OEwheelsLLC.com

It certainly is unique.

Uniquely done, the bird on the hood doesn't clash well with the stripe, either one or the other by itself. :chug:
