Default 243 Dyno #'s

Well its finally done, ***** just finished up the 243 project, went with Ported 243's, custom grind cam and ported Fast 90/90, Nick Williams TB. Almost forgot the Electric Water pump and the Yank 3600 stall. This project has been in the works since August, thats when we ordered the heads. Thanx Again ***** cant wait to pick up the SS on the 29th. here is an attached pic of the dyno graph.

Damn, very nice. I've been waiting on some numbers for those heads... looks like they perform well. Looks like a mild cam too.

Excellent power under the curve. Should be a screamer.

Bret Bauer of Bauer Racing. You can purchase these from a vendor here, I think it's CC Performance Parts. They list the T4P heads on their website.

Congrats nice numbers. It should run real strong. Any pulls with the converter unlocked? I am interested in what the ss3600 gives up when not locked

I'll get it back on the dyno and see what it does with the converter unlocked. Got a few things to finish up anyway.

Only if you have seen it vs. one of the big cams could you really tell.... wait you have!!

What was that 50 ft lbs MORE at 3000rpm than what people normally use to get that kind of power?

To quote ***** and/or bret...this cam is referred to as "the duke" for those who enjoy silly cam names. Its larger then TR224, and smaller then MS3. If you do a search under my name u can find some cam only results for this cam as well.

***** or Bret, do you believe the car would pick up power with a 85mm lid, and 85mm MAF?

Depends on if your WOT Kpa is lower than atmospheric during runs.... most likely it will help some.

How's it going Jason?

Just as Bigkap said, it's a moderate sized cam. Smaller than most used for these #'s.

Yes that would help, along with a set of AR Heads with eaighter their high flow cats or best would be no cats. This combo would most likely be closer to the 500rwhp range with better headers, no cats, and a manual trans.

Yes I have been told that those 243's are 3000+ with core charge on top of that.
