Default Tpis ls6 worth it?

just wondering if it would be worth it to send my ls6 intake away to tpis to have the 90mm openning put on and then get a 90mm throttle body. how much hp should i get my car put 390rwhp on mustang dyno mods in sig

Not worth it. Better off selling it and buying a FAST. If I remember someone not too long ago sent theirs off to get opened to 90mm and when they got it back it was messed up. I remember seeing pictures of dripping sealant and horrible cuts. Not sure if it was done by the company your talking about tho.

pictures i saw were just as you described...and it WAS from tpis.

not saying the benefits weren't there, but the asthetics were lacking.


with 390hp...the fast will be a good upgrade. i gained good power with mine. search my name in the dyno section and you'll see the results.

by the time you spend the money for the 90mm upgrade, and the new TB, you are damn close to the price of a FAST with the TB...minus selling your ls6 and stock TB.

proven power....
