I bought a used nitrous kit for my car, and it came with this purple nx remote bottle opener.



I cannot get this on the bottle for anything. It is like outside diameter on the purple sleeve is too big to fit and it doesn't allow the motor part to slide down over it.

What is the trick to this?

I know that, but it is like the piece that slips over the bottle neck is too big to allow the motor piece to slide down over it.

Is the collar a snug fit...to the point where you have to stand on it to get it to go on the bottle valve? It may be expanding to get it over the bottle valve. if so, we have had to machine material from the inside of the collar, then you may be able to get everything together.
