Default New PB with LS6 intake

My car really runs strong now since I installed an LS6 intake. Before, my PB was a 13.2 @ 108 last November. Today I got a chance to get some good runs in, was at Lapeer & there wasnt a lot of cars there today. My first run was a 13.08 @ 109, 2.01 60. I made 3 more runs, all were 12.8s @ 110 mph, with 1.93-4 60s. On my 3 12 second runs, I launched the car around 3500-4000 rpms. My car number was 207. Last year, I had problems getting any kind of consistency because the car wouldnt go into gear half the time. I installed a Tick Performance adjustable clutch master cylinder back in March, & I havent missed a shift since. Very happy with the way the car is running now.

No I dont know the DA. How do you get that info at the track? I know someone that knows a guy with HP tuners, he has a 2000 WS6 M6 so I guess he can tune cars. He tuned his anyway. I drove to his house last summer, he did some stuff like egr, rear o2, AIR delete reporting so I wouldnt have an SES light. He took out some timing because I was spark knocking, like 1-2 degrees. We didnt get to finish it because he didnt have his power inverter & his laptop battery kept dying I was so pissed. So a stock tune basically with a few degrees timing retarded. I since did a 3 step fuel & combustion chamber cleaning & thats why I think it was knocking, carbon buildup in the cylinders. I am doing a cam soon & having it dynotuned. I really didnt feel like pushing it on the launches & possibly breaking that 10 bolt. I was very pleased with the runs, 1.8s wouldve been ok & I thought I would trap around 112 from how much better the car pulls.

Here is how you get the DA:
http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_da.htm

You can find out the tracks altitude at the track or on their website. And the rest of the information can be found out by your local weather forecast.

The lower the better.

with that 1/8 mph i would've expected more in the 1/4. my ls1s have always picked up ~22-24mph on the back half with stock cams. nice times.

Thanks man. I do all right driving the car, but I know there are better drivers out there than myself with a manual trans that prolly couldve done a lil better. Just pleased I finally got into the 12s with this car, the trans shifts every time, got a much better feel for where to launch the car & all my runs were very consistent.

Whats not a tranny mount? My mistake of calling it a tunnel mount TA. I wouldnt have one of those tunnel mount TAs, theyre a PITA to install, gotta remove some of the interior.

The one in the pics isn't a tranny mount. That is what is known as a tunnel mount.

I thought that statement about picking up 22-24 mph on the back half was kinda funny. I remember someone posting up they ran a 12.55 @ 114 with an M6 LTs only car last year, a few debated the car being able to pick up I wanna say it was 27 mph in the back half.

Ohhhh sorry, you're like me then......wow your car is impressive! Looks like I need a little more converter to catch ya. Not too many of us in the 11 sec. don't have headers, thought I was the only one, curious to your reason for not having them. And to the op they look like bbks, are they?
