Personally i would never install wrap on my headers. I made that mistake once. Maybe i had a cheap set of headers but they crystalized and cracked within a few thousand miles. The small amount of heat it reduced was not worth it. Save your money, your headers, and your time. Dont use header wrap!

Ive never used it but was thinking about putting it on my duals where they vibrate on the floor with some rubber underneath the wrap? Will this hurt anything?

i used it years ago, it wasnt what i would call a cheap set of headers. they didnt have all the ceramic coatings and such yet. it helped with heat and under hood temps, i could change my starter and oil if i had too. the downside was my headers rusted out after about 2 years. was it worth it i would say yes if its not a dd, no if it was. good luck
