Default New LS1 or rebuild time?

Wondering how cost effective it is to rebuild... How well can these LS motors be rebuilt. What does it take to hone the sleeves, and can it be done. Where can I get a good kit...

OR
Is it cheaper to buy a new short block?
Where can I get a stock LS1 short block CHEAP?

You can noramlly built/forge the stock motor and that costs @ $3000 and can hold ALOT of power...like alot of nitrous.

Default Wow

that's like... i dunno... 700 dollars less than a new forged short block... and that's the quote I get everywhere... somebody needs to get into working these motors a little cheaper... I bet they would make some good money if they could do it easy...
Thanks though
