Thanks guys as for modding ive got a TSP cam kit sitting in my room that was goin in the T/A but its going in this one now. Since its really low milage im betting most the stuff is still factory and hasnt been changed including what look to be the factory tires so im in the process of tuning it up slowly but surly should have taken a pic of the aircleaner:barf:

I dont see the point in owning a car and not driving it. 8k miles in 6 years?? I would keep your eyes peeled for leaks and such. Im sure there are seals that are dry rotted and will start leaking if you drive the car.

wow if that was a cloth not leather car that would be my dream car. How much did you pick it up for.

I myself wouldn't mod a car that clean and in such factory condition. All I would do to that car is a K&N or what ever and an exhaust and that's it. It's without doubt Show car worthy.

I actually agree, with that low of miles you could just store it and sell it later down the road.. I mean 8000 miles, jesus christ dude is that on the original tires yet to?

If anyone wants a higher mileage LS1 car to mod, my '02 Z has 88k miles and it's a total virgin, other than an air lid. Make me an offer! :D

Nice car. I have a question. In the 4th picture of the engine bay, What is the second cable next to the one that goes to the actual blade? I have a 2002 Z-28 with the 6-speed and my car only has the one cable on it. Ive been wondering for awhile.

I can't see the pics at work...but i think your talking about the throttle cable, correct? If your car has traction control, it only has 1 cable. Cars without TC have 2

puggerton03
05-19-2009, 07:58 AM
Yeah it has tc, thanks.

My question would be... obviously it was a garage queen, or whatever, so why would the other owner get rid of it now?

Well the story goes as follows car belonged to a local car collector who also had two very nice 1st gen camaros a 69 SS and yenko clone. This car was going to be for his son who I guess ended up not deserving it. Discipline I guess so it was sold

I remember about 10 years ago, having a heads/cam LS1 was a HUGE deal. You were basically a God in your region if you had that. Even a cam/header setup was super rare and thought to be wild.

Times have changed. Anything less than a 402ci iron block with a T88 and a TH400 + 4500 stall is now "mild" :jest:
